Last Thursday morning, Grayson and I decided to go down to the Point and take the canoe out for a relaxing little ride around the lake. It was really peaceful and serene. We rowed over towards the island and then sat in the reeds and lillypads with the ducks, coots and red-wing blackbirds all around us...and ate a snack. It was a nice break from the usual morning routine!

Looks so peaceful. We also tried to make the best of what I think were the last days of warm weather 'till next year.
I just can't believe how big Grayson is getting! And he's looking more and more like his daddy the older he gets, too!
