Well, Justin finally succeeded......he got me to skydive yesterday evening! Yeah, me...can you believe it! I'm the one who isn't a really big risk taker and not a fan of heights. But, I did it and what a crazy rush!
Justin and Sarah had been working on me for about 2 weeks to go since Sarah would be going for her first time. I started to kind of think about doing it....but this was after some cocktails. However, I would start overthinking it and then chicken out. Yesterday I was just going to meet Justin, Sarah and dad there to take pictures. I had a slight suspicion that they were going to try to get me to go....but I wasn't going to back down. On the drive there I briefly thought about going because of how gorgeous the day was. So, Grayson and I arrive just in time to watch Justin and a bunch of other jumpmasters do their first jump. I was talking to Justin's friend Sep and his friend Meghan at the time....along with a gal that I assumed jumped all the time. I pretty much convinced myself that I would never go.
That all changed when dad, Sarah and Justin arrive from their landing field. Dad was totally nonchalant about it and just says "Why don't you go....I'll pay for it...and for pictures too". Next thing I knew I was being led over to the table to sign my life away. I didn't even read anything and just started initially haphazardly. Talk about not having time to overthink the whole thing. While I was signing, Meghan decided that if I was doing it....she had to as well. We both couldn't believe it! I just met her, but we were going to have such the bonding experience!
Grayson was totally pumped to watch the planes and to watch me jump. He has been watching the video all morning!
I had the best jumpmaster ever! As you can see he had quite the sense of humor....something I always appreciate!
Anyway, I would probably do this again....its just that first part of the jump that really freaked me out. I highly suggest it to anyone. If I can do it....you can too!
I'll have more pictures to post later...and maybe I will be able to figure out how to get the video on here too.

I LOVE the looks on your face! I think your jump buddy had a good time... ;)
You are a crazy girl. I'm at a loss for words, my stomach is beginning to knot just thinking about actually doing that- so that's all I can say!
This is pretty amazing stuff. I can't believe you did this! You are so brave! You SO have bragging rights now!
I have always thought there is no reason to jump out of a perfectly good plane. I guess you found one. I don't think I could ever do it. Love the pics and it really does look like fun. I hope you do it again.
OH wow!! I have always wanted to do that! Good job at being brave...
It is so funny that you did that. Scott and I are thinking about doing that in August. I wasn't sure about it, but I think I could do it. It looks like it is worth it. Where did you go to do it? We were going to go to the Kapowsin one.
Ok...well, I think we are taking Heath's sister and dad's lady friend in August around the 16th. You guys should go then too! Yes...the Kapowsin one! You have to get the dude I had....Mr. Funny guy!
