Waiting for mom!

Pop's kids: Yellow--Justin; Red-white-blue: Jess...Pop was glad to see both of these gorgeous chutes open!

Peaceful sailing over the bystanders.

Having a beer watching the infamous jump videos.

All of the jumpers of the day...well, except the little one!

A successful day!

More jump plane!

Grayson's new favorite movie is mom's skydiving video. He is totally obsessed with it and wants to watch it over and over again. What a great investment...we are sure getting Pop's money's worth! He really loves to see Stustin (Justin) on the movie and points him out every time. He also laughs at mom and says "funny face". Its quite the crack up just to watch him! Here he is enjoying the movie from his own chair...snacking on raisins.
Our little two year old is sure growing up fast! His language is advancing so much, especially in the past couple months. He is still a really good little boy and loves to cuddle with mama in the morning. He also likes to test mom quite a bit these days! His favorite things to do are play outside (and especially with water), play ball, read, play with his tractors and get into things he isn't supposed to be in. He is such a joy and he makes us laugh all the time!

Bubbles!

Yesterday Grayson got a new bubble making toy that makes big bubbles with little ones inside. He absolutely loves bubbles and had a lot of fun shooting the bubbles towards the dogs. Keilah thought this was great fun and chased the bubbles around and tried to eat them...which Grayson thought was very amusing. Unfortunately, we ran out of bubble "juice", so we will have to get more soon so we can create more soapy messes!

You're not gonna believe what I did!

Well, Justin finally succeeded......he got me to skydive yesterday evening! Yeah, me...can you believe it! I'm the one who isn't a really big risk taker and not a fan of heights. But, I did it and what a crazy rush!

Justin and Sarah had been working on me for about 2 weeks to go since Sarah would be going for her first time. I started to kind of think about doing it....but this was after some cocktails. However, I would start overthinking it and then chicken out. Yesterday I was just going to meet Justin, Sarah and dad there to take pictures. I had a slight suspicion that they were going to try to get me to go....but I wasn't going to back down. On the drive there I briefly thought about going because of how gorgeous the day was. So, Grayson and I arrive just in time to watch Justin and a bunch of other jumpmasters do their first jump. I was talking to Justin's friend Sep and his friend Meghan at the time....along with a gal that I assumed jumped all the time. I pretty much convinced myself that I would never go.

That all changed when dad, Sarah and Justin arrive from their landing field. Dad was totally nonchalant about it and just says "Why don't you go....I'll pay for it...and for pictures too". Next thing I knew I was being led over to the table to sign my life away. I didn't even read anything and just started initially haphazardly. Talk about not having time to overthink the whole thing. While I was signing, Meghan decided that if I was doing it....she had to as well. We both couldn't believe it! I just met her, but we were going to have such the bonding experience!

Here is the progression of my jump....the beginning part was insane! As you can see from my face I win the look of terror award! In my video you also get to see what I say....Holy S#@%! That was pretty much all I can say about that. After the initial part it was pretty cool...and I loved the part with our chute out- just chillin, looking at the scenery and doing some fun turns.

Grayson was totally pumped to watch the planes and to watch me jump. He has been watching the video all morning!

I had the best jumpmaster ever! As you can see he had quite the sense of humor....something I always appreciate!

Anyway, I would probably do this again....its just that first part of the jump that really freaked me out. I highly suggest it to anyone. If I can do it....you can too!

I'll have more pictures to post later...and maybe I will be able to figure out how to get the video on here too.
